Alright, so I’ll admit the variables in the title for this blog post did not occur in the order that I have presented them to you, but it makes for a fun “1-1-3-syllable rhythm”.

Yesterday

Yesterday was good. After my Psych class, (which honestly was such a short ‘hi and bye’ class, it isn’t even worth mentioning), Courtney Munn texted me and asked that I drive her to the Safeway in town in order for her to pick up her meds, a request I had no trouble accepting seeing as I needed to pick up some groceries myself for the upcoming week. Thankfully, Munn had worked in the Produce section at Fort McMurray’s Safeway before and was able to help me find what I needed. This was especially helpful as I hadn’t really ever shopped for such items in a Supermarket on my own before!

One Romaine Lettuce, Two Garlic Cloves and Six Tomatoes later (among the many other vegetables I bought), we drove back home and I began cooking my meal for the night...

STEAK AND EGGS (With Fattoush -- a Lebanese Salad)

Cooking the meal was an adventure, especially after I noticed that I was missing Butter (which I usually use to cook eggs), a steak knife and a flat plate!! No worries, thinks I, I’ve got bowls and a utility knife . It wasn’t the most convenient, but it worked!

The evening ended with my first trip to Marble Slab, with Courtney Munn and friend, Caitlyn Visser (forgive me if I misspelled this),  where I treated myself to a “Sweet Cream” regular-sized ice cream (essentially vanilla ice-cream without the vanilla in it) mixed with sprinkles. To pay for this I used the gift card that Rebecca Kirschner gave me for Grad 2010!

.-.. .- - . .-.

Today

Today was another “four-class” day. Learnt about Visceral versus Cerebral writing in my play reading class, dialectic versus didactic discourse in Philosophy and Historiography in my Drama 1000 class.

After class I got a text from Rebecca offering to catch an early movie at the Movie Mill (cinema that projects month-or-so-old movies for $4.00 a ticket, or $3.00 if it’s a matinee). After a brief glance at the movies showing (Charlie St. Cloud, Sorcerer’s Apprentice, Grown Ups etc...) we decided to rain-check this rendezvous until a later date when the movies showing would better compliment our preferences.

Instead, I offered for her to tag along with me to Canadian Tire as I was looking to purchase a new Microwave. $59.00 later, and after dropping Rebecca back off at home, I found myself carrying this into my dorm room!

This is Les Sixty dollar microwave that I bought from Canadian tire!

Oh and btw, the face photo of this blog post is a photo of the rear window of my car. Look closely and you’ll find suspicious feet marks. How did they get there?
